Competing Lyrical in the Six and Under Novice Category to "You'll Be in My Heart" were Mira Fischer, Landree Malloy, Leah Miller and Caia Sharp. The performance was awarded a Diamond Award and Placed Fourth Overall.
Competing Tap in the seven-eight Intermediate Category and placing Diamond and Fifth Overall were Aubrey Hague, Landree Malloy, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser and Lily Overholser.
Competing in the nine to twelve Competitive Category (ages and levels of competition are averaged) in large group, Musical Theater, to "The Wiz" were Mae Armstrong, Trent Armstrong, Rai Bullock, Jaidyn Clifton, Chandler Dean, Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Lauryn Hague, LindsayHague, Tori Kiser, LandreeMalloy, MylaMcGhee, Kylie McNutt, Lily Overholser, Kaylee Pelkey and Keanna Phelps.
Competing in the Eight and Under, Intermediate Lyrical Category to "I Look to You" and winning a Double Diamond, the Category Cup for Lyrical and Second Overall. These performers were Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser, Lily Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey.
Competing this classy jazz performance to "Fabulous" were Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser, Lily Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey. The performance received a Double Diamond and took First Place Overall.

Competing hip hop in the seven-eight Intermediate Category to "Shake" were Josie Epperson, Aubrey Hague, Hayes McMahan, Lianna Overholser, Lily Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey. The performers were awarded a Double Diamond and placed Third Overall.

Small Group competitions began before noon - JDC competed "B.I.N.G.0." in the Six and Under Novice Category. These performers were Mira Fischer, Landree Malloy, Leah Miller and Caia Sharp. The performance was awarded a Double Diamond award, a Judges Choice Award of "Too Cute for Words." They were awarded the Category Cup for Hiphop and won First Place Overall.
Lianna Overholser and Kaylee Pelkey competed their lyrical performance to "Footprints in the Sand" in the seven-eight novice category. There were awarded a Double Diamond and a Judges Choice Award of "Elegance and Grace." They were the Lyrical Category Cup winner and placed First overall. Fantastic young ladies.
Mira Fishcer and Caia Sharp competed their jazz duet to "I'm Your Girl" in the six and under novice category and were awarded a Double Diamond and Judges Choice Award of "Ready for the Pros" and Third overall.
Saturday morning, April 24th, began early for JDC with Adaline Trent and Zuhrina Williams competing their jazz performance to "Get Your Sparkle On. They competed in the six and younger novice category. They were awarded a Diamond and placed Fifth overall.
Competing Jazz in the nine-to-twelve year old Novice Category, to "September" were Trent Armstrong, Jaidyn Clifton, Kylie McNutt and Raquelle Williams. The performers received a Diamond and placed Sixth Overall.
Competing hip hop in small group, nine to twelve age group (averaged) in Novice Category to "Tik Tok" were Mae Armstrong, Trent Armstrong, Jaidyn Clifton, Landree Malloy, Kylie McNutt and Raquelle Williams. The group received a Diamond Award
You have probably figured out by now that the JDC Eight and Under performers competing Intermediate took first, second third and fifth overall. Way to go dancers! This is the third year for these groups to compete - starting out a very young age.
