Large Group Pom, age nine, instructed by Ms. Kim and performed to “Little Momma” were Alexandria Adams, Amber Bajorek, Mackenzie Blanchard, Elizabeth Clark, Kaitlynn Coleman, Maurie Gangluff, Kira Kinkinis, Darby Lottner, Micah Perry, Tegan Rea, Niki Rodgers, Lauren Travis and Heather Weth. The dancers won a Second Place and Seventh in Top Ten in Junior Division.
We didn't think we had time to take a pom picture after their performance because of costume changes and one of the moms sent the above to me - and as it turned out, we probably had an hour.
More excitement was added to the awards when the Junior Division, (age nine to eleven) Top Ten Awards were announced and winning Seventh was JDC Pom, “Little Momma” Dancers, Sixth was the large group Lyrical, “Never Alone,” and Fifth was age ten Hiphop Dancers to “Shake.”

Winning a Second Place were the Jacksonville Pom Company Dancers, who performed in the Large Group, Junior Division, age nine, to “Scarred.” This performance, instructed by Ms. Kimberly Holladay, involves not only dance, but also pom and cheer technique, and includes tumbling skills such as round-off double back handsprings, back tucks and front handsprings-step-out. From left to right, front row are Terra Johnson, Madi Spears, Mikaela Stoll, and Samantha Wade. Second row, left to right are Morgan Ferren, Amber Bajorek, Heather Weth, and Kaitlin Soderlund. Third row dancers, left to right, are Mackenzie Blanchard, Darby Lottner, Maurie Gangluff and Tessa Johnson. These dancers placed tenth in the Top Ten Awards for all Junior Division, Large Group dances.
This group of Pom dancers also won top awards with their spirited and high energy pom dance. Proud of you, ladies. Besides showing spirit and technique, they also showed off their gymnastics skills by doing back handsprings and back handsprings, back tuck, in their performances. The youngest group in the Company is the “Whomp, There It Is” dancers, who performed a Pom Pon routine in the Petite Division, age six. Instructed by Ms. Jennifer Holladay, these dancers who won a First Place, Second High Score, are Megan Hand, Kara Hutchinson, Alexandria Leirer and Tegan Rea.
