2009 - 2010 COMPETITION SEASON

Even though these are the dancers who made the different groups, the dancer may have auditioned for several groups and will make a choice as to which dances they will want to compete.

2008 - 2009 COMPETITION SEASON

LYRICAL ONE

LYRICAL TWO

Seated front row, the lyrical dancers are, left to right, Jessica McDonough, Tori Spears and Niki Rodgers.  Seated behind are Jessica Holeman and Briyana Isaac.  These dancers are instructed by Ms. Lois Bryan.

LYRICAL - LARGE GROUP

The dancers shown here from the Lyrical Large Group were all trying to fit into the picture and the front row performers were trying to bend knees so as to not be as tall but it didn't quite work out.  From left to right, front row, are Bailea Jones, Julia Johnson, Kira Jinkins, Micah Perry, Amber Bajorek and Madi Spears.  Back row, left to right are Alexandria Adams, Jessica Holeman, Niki Rodgers, Tori Spears, Amanda Hicks, Jessica Gardner and Christina Henley.  Ms. Lois instructs this group of dancers.

GATLINBURG, TENNESSEE, JULY 1 - 5, 2008

LARGE GROUP LYRICAL

SHOWBIZ COMPETITION

Large Group, Lyrical, age eleven, “Never Alone” won a Second Place.  Dancers in this group, instructed by Ms. Lois, are Amber Bajorek, Amanda Cross, Jessica Gardner, Tori Hanley, Christina Hensley, Amanda Hicks, Jessica Holeman, Briyana Isaac, Jessica McDonough, Jordan Rogers, Niki Rodgers, Samantha Sobba, Tori Spears and Madison Winstead.

Don't these dancers look pretty in these costumes.  And they did a beautiful job with their dance. They won Sixth out of Top Ten for the Junior division.  Way to go, Dancers!

Small Group, Lyrical, age thirteen, “Three A. M.” won a Second-Place Award.  These dancers, instructed by Ms. Lois, are Amanda Cross, Tori Hanley, Jessica Holeman, Briyana Isaac, Tori Spears and Madison Winstead. 

These advanced lyrical dancers performed in their beautiful burgundy-colored costumes and danced just as beautifully.

2006 - 2007

Shown here are the dancers who performed as the youngest JDC lyrical dancers to “There’s a Hero” and won a Second Place.  Shown here are several of the many JDC dancers who perform in two or more dances and four of the dancers also compete with the Jacksonville Gymnastics Competitive Team.   These dancers are instructed by Ms. Lois Bryan; seated from left to right are Bailey Gibson, Jessica McDonough, and Micah Perry.  Standing from left to right are Amanda Hicks, Briyana Isaac, Samantha Sobba, Alexandria Adams, Amber Bajorek and Christina Hensley.

Dancing Lyrical also in the Junior Division, age 12, to “Lips of an Angel” were Amanda Cross, Tori Hanley, Jessica Holeman and Tori Spears.   These dancers in their beautiful costume and  instructed by Ms. Lois Bryan, were awarded a Second Place.

Shown here in their recital photo are Tori in floor splits, and left to right back, Tori, Amanda and Jessica.  The next photo, taken at the Talent on Parade National Competition, speaks for itself.  Way to go, ladies!

Also dancing Lyrical, in the Senior Division, age 16, to “Kiss of a Rose” were Taylor Canfield, Ashley McCutcheon, Jessica Raines, Lindsey Sweet and Stephanie York.   Ms. Tammy Christensen is the instructor for these dancers who were awarded a Second Place.

Lyrical - Ages Eight to Ten

One Dancer was out of town.  I was so impressed with these dancers - most of them had been at Huff 'n Puff since they were very little but this was the first year of dance for some of them and the first year for lyrical for all of them.  Good job, girls.
