Jacksonville Gymnastics Team was begun fourteen years ago when Ms. Laurel worked with recreational gymnastics students and by the end of that year, had eleven Level Four gymnasts ready to compete in the fall (1998 - 1999). With lots of hard work and dedication and more coaches, the team has grown to be one of the largest competing teams in Arkansas. The team will compete Levels Two - Ten this fall 2011.

Not sure what year this paragraph below was for - but suffice it to say, that Jacksonville Gymnastics Competitive Team Levels do very well in competition.
I didn't take time to count all our first or second-place individual honors, but the team levels won fifteen first-place awards, eight second-place awards, nine third-place awards and nine fourth-place team awards. We were so proud of all of our gymnasts. No awards were given for the Level Three gymnasts at their meets, but they did really well and would have won several first-place team awards, had they been awarded.
The Level Nine Team again won the State Championship Banner!!!
During the 2008 - 2009 competition season, the team won 17 top or first-place team awards, eleven - second-place awards and six third-place team awards. Also, 151 (first or second-place) individual all-around placements, and 558 Event Top Awards have been awarded to team gymnasts during this season.
Jacksonville Gymnastics Team, Level Nine, won the 2009 State Championship Banner and Level Seven Team Tied for the State Championship Banner. Jax Gym has eight State Champions and 39 Event State Champions at the 2009 State Meet. The Level Six Team won Second-Place State Championship; and Level Eight won Third Place. Additionally, one of our Level Eight gymnasts competed in the Level Eight Regional Three Competition in Norman, Oklahoma, and four of our competing Level Nine gymnasts were chosen to attend the Regional Three Championship Meet in Denver. From that championship, for the first time in our history, we had two Level Nine gymnasts compete in the Western National Championship held this year in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

We at Huff ‘n Puff are very excited about the progress our gymnastics team continues to make. Our girls’ team has been actively competing for ten seasons and our team continues to grow in number and accomplishments.
Our USAG Junior Olympic Competitive Team, known as Jacksonville Gymnastics, participated in nine competitions, including the Memphis Meet, Shreveport Meet and the Tyler, Texas meet and ended the 2008 - 2009 season at the Arkansas State Competitions (and some of the gymnasts competed in twelve competitions, including State Meet, Regional and the Western National Competition) This will be our eleventh year to compete and our team has continued to grow and thrive each season.
We began competing Level Three gymnasts four years ago and these young gymnasts have been doing so well. Team awards are not always given for Level Three teams but our Level Three gymnasts did very well at all the meets in which they were entered last year.
We are so proud of our competitive team, all levels. Credit for our growing championship team goes to our highly qualified, safety certified and Olympic judge-accredited coaches. The team again worked extra hours this summer and made strides comparable to last summer. They worked nine to twenty hours a week under the tutelage of Coaches Laurel, Erin, Christy, Lois, Lindsey and Bonnie. The parents attribute the team’s success to the positive discipline and attitudes exhibited by our coaches. And it was that positive attitude shown by our coaches that has brought other competing gymnasts to join our team.
Much credit is also attributed to Mr. Bobby and the recreational coaches who inspire the young gymnasts in the pre-level one, level one and especially Level two classes to work even harder to achieve the skills to make it to the Level Three Team.
