The dance program at Huff 'n Puff has always gotten better and better each year, but since the
inception of Jacksonville Dance Company, the progress has been immeasurable. Even those who
have been with Huff 'n Puff all these years are very impressed and we are so proud of all of our
students - recreational or competitive. Our instructors are among the best in central
Arkansas (see staff members) and we know that you will care for them as we all do.
The youngest dancers (ages three to five) at Huff 'n Puff are enrolled in Tap 'n Tumbling - a
program where the students work in tap and ballet for 30 minutes and then go into the gymnastics
side of the program and are taught gymnastics basics - the same basics that are taught in the
regular preschool gymnastics programs. This way, the student is offered the best of both worlds.
The pictures shown below are Tap 'n Tumbling students and are in no particular order. Tap 'n
Tumbling students perform one dance in the recital. To see what dances they performed, click
above or below under 28th Dance Recital photos.
The dance program at Huff 'n Puff is expanding each year. We teach the Tap 'n Tumble to three-
to five-year olds; combination classes of Ballet, Tap and Jazz to ages five to six and seven to nine.
We teach jazz/hiphop; ballet/lyrical; ballet/jazz; jazz/hiphop; cheer pom; adult dance of tap/jazz or
hiphop - about any combination of dance that you or your child might like. We also have the
wonderful dance company classes to which students who wish to compete might aspire. Be sure to
click on 2008 recital pictures to see all or our wonderful student who were in the recital and all the
dances that our students performed.
I have just put some of the younger dancers on here but be sure to click on the 2008 Recital
pictures to see all of our students.

At age five (school-age five) and six years of age, the dancers may go into combination classes
include ballet, tap and jazz. Other dancers may take pom or hiphop or cheer classes.
Combination Classes for Ages Five - Six - These dancers perform two dances
in our recitals.

Ages Seven to Nine also perform two dances - some are shown below.
