RETURN HOME RETURN TO MEETS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS




The Yankee Doodle Dandy Gymnastics Competition was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 13 - 15 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. The meet, hosted by Flip Flop Gymnastics, was held in seven sessions beginning Friday evening and ended Sunday evening. Nearly 575 gymnasts, ages four to eighteen, from nineteen teams from Arkansas and Louisiana competed at Levels Two through Ten. Jacksonville Gymnastics competed 90 gymnasts, Levels Two through Ten.
Ninety-five Level Four gymnasts from six large teams competed Friday evening including the Jax Gymnastics Level Four gymnasts. Competing were Kylie Belew, Kaitlin Beratto, Molly Boroughs, Marissa Brown, Chandler Dean, Kayla Goldsmith, Katie Groff, Hannah Heflin, Sophie Miller, Isabelle Rhodes, Samantha Stephens, Madison Weeks and Carson White. The Jax Gymnastics Team won the Fourth-Place team award.
The Jax Gymnastics Level Four Team posed with their Fourth-Place Team Trophy, smiling proudly and looking just as fresh as when they began the meet. The Jax Gymnastics Level Five Team competed in the first session early Saturday morning. They competed with 71 Level Five gymnasts from six large teams while 20 Level Six gymnasts from six teams also competed. The Jax Gym Level Five Team won the Third-Place Team Trophy. Competing Saturday morning for the Jax Gym Level Five Team were Lyndi Brown, Alexis Clouser, Jordan Cooper, Makenzie Cresswell, Brenna Frandson, Scarlett Frederic, Rani Heinmiller, Harlyn Hogan, M'Lynn Johnson, Clara Jane Scott, Sydney Spillane, Mayla Spoon, Elizabeth Thornhill, Alexis Truesdail and Alex Wargo.

The Jax Gymnastics Level Six Team competed with 42 gymnasts from seven teams at the same time that 19 Level Seven gymnasts from nine teams were competing. There were 20 Level Six gymnasts from six teams who had competed in an earlier session. Competing for Jax Gymnastics were the following gymnasts: Sarah Balenko, Miranda Chambers, Mia Faulkner, Sara Heil, Olivia Hodson, Morganne Jumper, Cami Kita, Jenna Mecca, Ainsley Robinson, Danielle Sheesley, Kaitlyn Sheesley and Taylor Stauffer. The Jax Gymnastics Level Six Team won the Fourth-Place Team Trophy.
Competing at Level Six for Jax Gymnastics and winning the Fourth-Place Team Trophy were the following gymnasts - first row, left to right, Cami, Morganne, Mia and Sarah; second row - Kaitlyn, Danielle, Miranda and Ainsley; and third row - Jenna, Sara, Taylor and Olivia.

The Optional Gymnasts, Level Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten, competed in the evening session. The following Jax Gymnastics Level Seven gymnasts competed and won the Second-Place Team Trophy: Sabrina Barger, Madison Cresswell, Emma Faulkner, Joshuline Gaynor, Briyana Isaac, Skylar Martin, Madi Spears, Allison Tubbs, Lynzie VanBrocklin and Caytee Wright.

Competing with 29 Level Eight gymnasts from eight teams was the Jax Gymnastics Level Eight Team. Competing and winning the Fifth-Place Team Trophy were Hollyann Beckner, Tonie Butler, Jessica McDonough, Allison Ramsey and Jordan Rogers. Also competing as a Level Eight Beam and Floor Specialist was Stephanie Singleton.
