and Huff 'n Puff, Jacksonville

The first Jax Gym Skills Revue was held Monday night, May 21, 2012, for the parents and families of the recreational students who chose to participate. This is a yearly tradition held by Huff 'n Puff and Jacksonville Gymnasts as a way for the parents to see their children show off some of the skills that they have learned during the previous year. Special leotards are always ordered to celebrate the Skills Revue and a good time is had by all. It is difficult to tell who is the most proud - the gymnasts, the parents or the coaches. The kids did a great job and had a great time. The program culminated in an exhibition by the team gymnasts. These gymnasts are the team members of the Jacksonville Gymnastics Competitive Team who work out at the Jax Gym, NLR facility. This part of the program gives the rec gymnasts a chance to see what can be attained with hard work and allows them to set their own goals for the future.

Chandler has been with Huff 'n Puff, Jax Gymnastics and Jacksonville Dance Company since she was old enough to begin classes (age three). She was at Jax Gym, NLR, working out.

We're just waiting our turn - Coach Laurel broke the group into smaller groups and each group demonstrated their skills on each of their four events - the vault, the bars, the beam and the floor skills.
