Three Jax Gymnasts qualify for USA Gymnastics

USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling.
Gymnasts at Jax Gymnastics, NLR, have something to flip out about - two of the athletes from the team qualified for USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic National Championships at the co-hosted Arkansas/Alabama State Championships. Both Reagan Hodson and Andrew Wise qualified for the USA Gymnastics National Championships in their respective age group and level. Hodson will compete in the Age 9-10, Level Five competition in two events--Double-Mini Trampoline and Trampoline. Wise will compete in the Age 15 and over, Level Eight division in all three events--Tumbling, Trampoline and Double-Mini Trampoline. Maddie Young, Level Five, also qualified for National Competition.
The National Competition will be held in Long Beach, California July 3 - 11th. This is very exciting for the athletes and their coach, especially since this is their first year to compete in trampoline and tumbling.
The Jax Gym Trampoline and Tumbling classes are the only classes of this nature in the state of Arkansas. Coach Erin Powell started this competitive team about a year ago at the Jax Gymnastics facility in North Little Rock. This facility is part of the Huff 'n Puff corporation in Jacksonville.

Jax Gymnasts competed in the co-hosted Alabama and Arkansas Tumbling and Trampoline State Championships April 15, 2012, in Huntsville, Alabama. Jax Gymnasts showed well, taking home 16 state titles. Be sure to congratulate our newest State Champions!
