JAX GYM TRAMPOLINE AND TUMBLING GYMNASTS WIN BIG AT NATIONAL COMPETITION
The National Championship for Trampoline and Tumbling was held in Long Beach, California, July 3 - 11th. The gymnasts had to meet a qualifying score to even get to compete in the National Competition. These three Jax Gym gymnasts placed in the top ten in at least one event - we are so proud of our gymnasts and of our coach, Erin Powell. Congratulations to the gymnasts and to Coach Erin.
Trampoline and Tumbling Competition Arena - Long Beach, California - July 3 - 11, 2012
In their first year of competition, three of the Jax Gym Trampoline and Tumbling gymnasts competed in the 2012 National Competition and all three gymnasts qualified in the top ten in at least one of their events. The three gymnasts were Andrew Wise, Level Eight; Maddie Young, Level Five; and Reagan Hodson, Level Five.
The gymnasts may compete on one event or all three events and he/she might be on different levels for each event. Andrew competed in all three events - trampoline, tumbling and double minis. He won Second Place on Tumbling on Saturday and placed eighth in double mini.
Maddie Young won sixth on Trampoline out of a large number of gymnasts.
Reagan Hodson place 16th on trampoline (out of 78 competitors) and won NATIONAL CHAMPION on double mini - out of over 70 competitors. Reagan had been a member of the Jax Gym USAG Competitive team for several years before competing Trampoline and Tumbling.

(Posted July 6th) Congratulations to Andrew Wise and Coach Erin Powell of Jax Gym Trampoline and Tumbling Team. Andrew, Level Eight gymnast, competed Friday, July 6, in the Trampoline and Tumbling National Competition in Long Beach, California. Andrew placed second in tumbling!!!!!
