Members of the Jacksonville All-Star Xtreme (JAX) Cheer Squad attended their first competition Saturday, January 28th at the The MEGAJAM Competition, hosted by Jamfest, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  There were fifteen competing Level Three Teams.  The majority or the teams were Senior squads along with some junior squads.

We're so proud of our cheer squad led by Coach Daniel Allen and Audra Wright.  Not only did the JAX Cheer Squad win First in their Division, but they also had the highest scoring routine out of the fifteen Level Three Senior teams.

The coaches and squad were very excited to win First, but they were extra proud that they won the Sportsmanship Award for the overall competition.  This says so much about our cheer squad and our coaches.  This was the first time for most of our cheer squad to compete.

The cheer squad was formed this past summer by Coaches Daniel Allen and Audra Wright.  Both Coach Allen and Coach Wright have been active in the sport of cheerleading for many years in central Arkansas and both were on the University of Central Arkansas cheer squad.

Members of the JAX squad are Abby Chandler, Courtney Ellis, Mackenzie Ellis, Katy Gorden, Tori Hanley, Nicole Huggins, Mollie Johnson, Terra Johnson, Micah Long, Lauren Osburn, Taylor Romine, Stephanie Singleton, Lauren Travis, Marissa Wallace, Darian Wright and Anna Wyatt.

The Squad will next compete at Jamfest Lite February 25th in Southaven, Mississippi.
