To:  Parents of Huff 'n Puff Students

We wish to welcome you to Huff 'n Puff Fitness, Dance and Gymnastics Center, Inc.  We are so happy that you have chosen for us to be a part of your child's formative years.  As a matter of information for you, Huff 'n Puff is the parent company that was begun about 32 years ago and Jacksonville Gymnastics, Dance and Cheer, short name Jax Gym or Dance or Cheer, are the competitive programs at the two facilities.  Our location in North Little Rock is also known as JAX Gym.

We have been teaching children and adults in Jacksonville for nearly 32 years.  And a little over a year ago, we are began teaching classes in North Little Rock. 

We are so proud to teach at two locations--our original, but expanded, location at 613 Stonewall Square in Jacksonville, and our location at 4101 Richards Road in North Little Rock.  Our programs at the two locations are somewhat different but some are mostly the same.

Following are the programs that are similar at BOTH locations - preschool gymnastics; recreational and competitive gymnastics; power tumbling--beginner, ongoing, advanced and elite; cheernastics; birthday parties; and Fun Nights at the Gym.  Both facilities are fully staffed with highly qualified coaches and some of our instructors coach at both locations.  We have a wonderful dance program, both recreational and competitive at Huff 'n Puff in Jacksonville. 

Huff 'n Puff offers competitive gymnastics, Levels Two - Ten; competitive Cheerleading which was formed in May, 2011, Jacksonville All-Star Xtreme (JAX) Cheer; and recreational and competitive dance programs (Jacksonville Dance Company).    HnP also offers popular classes in Zumba for adults and teens.

JAX Gym offers a recreational and competitive Trampoline and Tumbling program and we hold an Open Gym for tumblers, ten years of age and older, on Friday nights.

Huff 'n Puff has a popular, five-full-day Summer Daycamp program which is licensed by the State of Arkansas. 

All of our competitive programs continue to succeed.  The Jacksonville USAG Competitive Gymnastics Team has grown over the fourteen years when Laurel started team, from her original eleven competitive gymnasts, to over 100 team members with a competitive coaching staff of ten highly qualified coaches.  The team has won State Championships twice at Level Six and Level Nine, and once at Level Five and Level Seven, in addition to the many individual State Championships won by team members.

The JAX Cheer Squad won a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in  its first year of competing and the Trampoline and Tumbling Team had three gymnasts chosen to compete in the Trampoline and Tumbling National Championship held in Long Beach, California in July.  All three gymnasts placed in the Top Ten in one of their three events and nine-year-old Reagan Hodson won the National Championship in Double Mini. 

The Jacksonville Dance Company, begun nine years ago, continues to grow and had a very successful and fun  competitive year.  Everyone is always excited with the new year after tryouts in August as new dance groups are formed and new dances are begun. 

At Huff 'n Puff, we are enlarging our preschool gym with new space, new equipment, new programs and more classes offered.  It's going to be a fun year for preschoolers, from ages 18 months to six years old.

We are continuing to grow in many ways.  We are listing over 300 hours of classes weekly between the two locations, including team hours and Mini-Mite classes (which are held away from the gym).  We have viewing for all of our classes, which makes it fun for the parents and grandparents, as you are able to watch your child and their progress.

Our website - www.huffnpuffgym.com - has also continued to grow with nearly 150,000 hits since we started it several years ago.  I thank each of you for your interest  - it makes my late night-time hours seem really worthwhile.  I appreciate your support.  It is also great that you may register and arrange for payments on line.

If you are a newcomer, we welcome you.  If you are returning, we thank you.  And we also thank each and every one of you for your continued support.  We take such immense pride in our students, our staff and our facilities, and we sincerely hope that you will feel at home with us and have pride in us, too.
