KAYLA EDGIN - 2011 - 2012

Ms. Kayla has been involved in the sport of gymnastics for over fourteen years, having started at age four.  Ms. Kayla has always excelled in gymnastics, winning many individual and all-around honors over the years, and state and regional honors on beam and floor.  Kayla has been with Jacksonville Gymnastics for the past seven years, competing Levels Seven through Ten.  Kayla was the first Level Nine gymnast on the Jacksonville Gymnastics Team and was also the Home Team's First Level Ten gymnast - what an honor!  She was also a member of the Jacksonville Gym Team that won the Level Nine State Championship in 2009.  She was one of the first two on Jax Gym team to qualify for Western Championships (25-26 state teams) where she placed eighth of the "Best of the West" on beam having the top beam score of her Region Three Team.  Ms. Kayla began coaching at the gym in the summer of 2010 and coaches Level Four Gymnasts.  She plans to attend UCA in the fall of 2012 to major in physical therapy.  We are very proud of Kayla as we feel that we have sort of been part of her success and she has been a BIG part in our success;  She is making a great coach for these gymnasts as she is a great inspiration to these younger gymnasts.
