Andi Holeman - 2011 - 2012

Ms. Andi first came to Huff ‘n Puff over twenty years ago to enroll her oldest daughter, Whitney, in classes to help her become more sociable around children her own age.  Ms. Andi watched her daughter bloom as she made new friends, while learning the dance and gymnastics skills needed to achieve classroom success.  Her daughter eventually became part of the first squad of the Jacksonville Gymnastics team to compete, and was also on the first Dance Company when it was formed.  From those beginning years and through this past year, when her second daughter—Jessica--graduated from high school, Ms. Andi has helped out in the dressing rooms at every recital and competition.  Ms. Andi’s daughter, Jessica, has grown up at Huff ‘n Puff and is now teaching Ballet, Tap and Tumble here at Huff ‘n Puff and at the LRAFB classes.

For years, Ms. Andi has worked at the front desk, greeting patrons and receiving their monthly tuition payments, while answering those very important phone calls that come in.  She continues to help out backstage at every recital and is currently the prop master for the Jacksonville Dance Company, helping at many presentations, including Wing Ding, Haunted House, Christmas parades, and many competitions, both in and out of state.

Ms. Andi has also worked with the Huff ‘n Puff Summer Day Camp during the past five summers, working with the eight to twelve year-old group.  The kids love her as she teaches them “outside the box” on our history—both world and local—as well as helping them improve their writing and reading skills.
