DIRECTIONS FOR BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Participants (youngsters or adults) should remember to wear casual clothing but not Levis or jeans.  Cotton physical education-type shorts and t-shirts for children or sweat pants, if the weather is cooler, work very well.  Levi buttons can damage some of our equipment.  Pockets should be emptied and shoes and socks are removed upon entering the gymnastics area.  Socks, billfolds and cell phones have spent days in the foam pit before being found!!!  Participants are responsible for their own belongings.

Directions from Sherwood to Huff ‘n Puff in Jacksonville:  Travel north on Highway 67-167 to Jacksonville.  Come off the highway to the right at the James Street exit (the third exit.)  Turn left onto the access road and continue traveling north up to but not through the signal.  Curve right into the center lane (James Street) and immediately turn left onto Martin Street.  Go .5 of a mile through the four-way stop to the signal which is on Martin and North First (also called Highway 161.)  Turn right and again immediately get into the left-hand lane.  As quickly as you can, move center into the turning lane (which is opposite direction) and turn left into Stonewall Shopping Center.  Huff ‘n Puff is directly in front of that entrance – it is a two-story, cream-colored building with Huff ‘n Puff in purple letters across the top of the building.  We are directly across the street from the new City of Jacksonville Water Park.  If you get to the Jacksonville Fitness Center, you have gone too far!

Directions from Cabot to Huff ‘n Puff.  Take the Air Base exit.  Drive down to the signal but instead of turning right to the Air Base, turn left and go under the overpass.  Travel south on First Street (or Highway 161).  You will be traveling between McDonald’s and Sonic.  Continue south – Kroger’s will be on your right.  Huff ‘n Puff is .5 of a mile from Kroger’s – be in the left-hand lane and go thru the signal at Martin Street.  The center lane is a turning lane for the opposite direction.     The entrance to Stonewall Square and Huff ‘n Puff is at the end of the turning lane.  Turn left into the shopping center and Huff ‘n Puff is directly in front of the entrance to the shopping center.  Huff ‘n Puff is a two-story, cream-colored building with purple letters across the top.
