Levels Six - Ten

Level Six Team Members also competed in the afternoon session of the Mock Meet. Competing gymnasts ranged in age from nine to thirteen.

Winning First-Place All-Around honors for their age brackets were Sara Beavers, Madi Spears and Briyana Isaac.
Competing in the noontime session were the optional gymnasts - Levels Seven through Ten.
Our Level Seven gymnasts range in age from ten to fifteen.
Jacksonville Level Seven Gymnasts from left to right are Katelin McLain, Lynzie VanBrocklin, Jordan Rogers, Jessica McDonough, Rachel Flippen and Taylor Butler. Stephanie Singleton, another member of the team, was unable to compete due to illness.
First-Place All-Around honors for their age brackets went to Lynzie VanBrocklin and Katelin McLain.
Our competing Level Eight gymnasts range in age from ten to twelve.
Competing at Level Eight are Tonie Butler, Mackenzie Ellis and Kendra Lytch. These gymnasts are ten, eleven and twelve but competed in same age bracket, which will probably be different at other competitions. Kendra won the First-Place All-Around Honors.
Our Level Nine Gymnasts range in age from twelve to eighteen.
Competing in the Mock Meet at Level Nine were Haley Edgin, Kimmie Edwards, Tori Hanley and Courtney Ellis. Courtney earned the First-Place All-Around honors.
But wait - there's more!!
Taylor Rai Johnson, who is also Level Nine, had hit her big toe on the bars on Thursday night and will be out for a week but she was there helping at the meet and giving her teammates additional support. And Sarah McAlister, who is also Level Nine did not compete at this meet.
And, (drum roll, please)
Sixteen-year-old Kayla Edgin, who made team history two years ago by being our very first level nine gymnast, has made team history again by becoming our first Level Ten Gymnast. Congratulations, Kayla, we are so proud of you.
The Jacksonville Gymnastics Competitive Team is coached by Laurel Spears, Head Coach; Erin Hicks, Assistant Head Coach; Christy Ellis, Lois Bryan and Lindsey Sweet.
The Levels Three - Six will compete at the West Memphis competition on November 20 - 21 and all levels, Three - Ten - will compete December 11 - 13 at the Pepsi Challenge hosted by Hot Springs Gymnastics.
As always, it's going to be a fun and challenging season. Look forward to seeing all of you!
