Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
We girls went to the Aquarium one evening. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take my camera. It was one of the best things we did and we all enjoyed it. I went by on Saturday morning before we went to Pigeon Forge and took these pictures. The staff member was kind enough to let me run in and take the pictures on the sting rays. The kids (and us) had a great time petting the sting rays - they would get just close enough that we could touch them on their backs. Their sting parts had been removed so we could not be hurt. Madi seemed to have about the best luck touching them - think that was because Lindsey was holding on to her legs so she wouldn't fall in. We had to take our hands out of the water when the shark swam by - not for our safety but for the sake of the shark - it would hurt it.
I'm hoping to get a lot of the pictures from the others to put on the web here so you might be able to see some of the very interesting fish that we saw. Everyone that I talked to who had been to the aquarium, really enjoyed it.

The shark is in the water in front of the left corner of the wall.
There were probably a dozen sting rays in the water; however, it seemed like the same four or five were the ones that would come swimming by the wall.
