SAMANTHA WADE - PAGEANT WINNER

I received the following e-mail from good friends and former Huff 'n Puff Family Wes and Virginia Wade, who lived here for three years and were a big part of the Huff 'n Puff Family from summer of 2004 to June 2007.  Their oldest daughter Savannah was a wonder Level Four Team Gymnast, who several times won the All-Around Honor for her age in our Jacksonville Gymnastics Competitive Meets.  Second child Samantha was Level Three gymnast for one year and then danced with the Jacksonville Dance Company.  Wesley was young and grew up a lot while the family was here.  Virginia worked our daycamp for several years and was a pre-school gymnastics instructor for us the last year the family was here.  Virginia was an especially good friend to me and to my mother.  I don't know what I would have done without Virginia's help a number of times for Mom.  Daddy Wes was transferred to Enid Oklahoma.  The girls were unable to do gymnastics at their new home due to distance to gyms.

Both Savannah and Samantha took up baton twirling there and have been competing with their team members there.

Samantha was entered in photogenic competition in one of our regional dance competitions (Talent on Parade, 2007) and won Fourth out of 22 competitors, ages nine to eleven.  This is her picture.

She has entered in a couple of  pageants since they have moved and has done very well in the competitions that she has entered.  She also won this last one that she entered.  Have attached a picture and the following is the fun e-mail message that I received from Virginia.  Samantha - Congratulations from all of us.

"Hello everyone,

You are now receiving an email from the proud parents of the "National Hi-Point Novice Queen" of Americas youth showcase.  and if thats not enough bragging, she also won the talent for her age division!  woo hoo...not bad for a 3rd time in a pageant huh???? thought I'd share a couple of the pics with you. the white banner is for her talent and the red banner is her "overall winner" banner for the queen.  and of course, not to mention that 6 inch crown upon her head......hope you enjoy"

Way to go, Samantha!!!
