PAGE FIVE - JAX GYM TEAM GYMNASTS

Huff 'n Puff

Jacksonville Competing Gymnasts from Level Three - Nine showed off their tumbling skills.  The gymnasts could not do their more difficult skills though due to tumbling on mats and not on a spring floor.  Tori Hanley--one of our Level Eight gymnasts--ended our exhibition by performing several back handsprings and connected them to a Full, which was quite impressive.

Before the tumbling exhibition by the team gymnasts began, Ms. Laurel had two Level Six gymnasts - Jordan Rogers and Lynzie VanBrocklin, whom she had introduced as starting with us as very young preschoolers, demonstrate a cartwheel and back walkover on the beam.  She then brought Taylor Rai Johnson--one of our Level Nine team gymnasts--to demonstrate a back handspring and then a back tuck on the beam.  She reminded the audience though that those four-inch beams are actually about 42 inches off the ground, which makes it a little more difficult for the gymnasts.

We thank all of the gymnasts, dancers and parents once again for taking the time out of your busy schedules to support us and to support the community (which in return supports all of us).  Some of our parents came from as far away as Searcy and Conway and we appreciate each and every one of you.  We thank each of our parents every day for bringing your children to their classes.  We realize that it is difficult some days to take the time, but we are such believers in it being so beneficial to your children.

(I am so sorry about the quality of the pictures - I also think the white banner was throwing off the lighting on my camera - some of the pictures are fuzzy to begin with and others you can see the gymnast's action making the pictures fuzzy at that point.)

Lynzie and Jordan

Taylor Rai as she performed two difficult and perfectly executed skills on the beam - a back handsprings and a back tuck.

Some of the gymnasts await their turn after their teammate Taylor Rai had performed difficult skills on the beam.

And a few more team gymnasts awaiting their turn on the other side.

LEVELS THREE - NINE

Six of the sixteen Level Three team members who could come and show the community their skills - thanks girls and parents - it was a good opportunity for you and for us.  We are all looking forward to our new season and getting to know all of our gymnasts.

Six of our seventeen Level Four gymnasts who showed us their skills.  Thanks so much girls!

Six of our Level Five Team Gymnasts - who definitely enjoy showing their skills.

Three of our seven Level Six gymnasts.  All of the Level Six gymnasts are new to the level.

The entire Level Seven Team showed off their many skills.

Four of the five Level Eight gymnasts were able to perform.

Two of the five Level Nine gymnasts came to Wing Ding.  Four of our five Level Nine gymnast are new to the level and have worked for years to achieve that level of accomplishments.  We are so proud of them and proud of our coaches - but we are proud of each and every gymnast who have worked so hard to achieve their level of accomplishment.  As anything worth having in life, it's worth working for.
