Taylor Rai began taking gymnastics at age five.
She was moved to Preteam six months later and was moved to Level Four six months after that at age six.
She competed Level Four and won the Level Four State Fun Meet at age seven.
At age eight, Taylor Rai competed Level Five and won Second-Place State Championship.
Taylor Rai won Level Six Individual All-Around State Champion in March 2004 at age nine.
Taylor Rai and family moved to Jacksonville Gymnastics in March, 2004 and she began competing Level Seven in 2004 - 2005 competitive season and won Second Place State in 2005.
She was moved to Level Eight in 2005-2006 competitive season and won Fifth in State.
Taylor Rai competed Level Eight in 2006 - 2007 competitive season and placed Third in State She went to the Region Three Meet in Texas last April - competing with her four team-mates against 259 gymnasts from 120 clubs (meet was divided into six sessions by age.)
Taylor Rai plays flute in her Junior High School Band. She is also active in her church group.
She is a member of the Jacksonville Dance Company, competing HipHop for the second year. Her twin sisters Terra and Tessa have also been members of the Jacksonville Dance Company, competing HipHop again this year and HipHop and Pom last year. Terra was Level Five State Champion three years ago when she competed gymnastics.
